Nick Bertrand is a keeper out of Quebec, Canada who now focuses on rare and uncommon lizard species. In the episode, Nick explains how his initial passion for reptile keeping quickly became unmanageable and resulted in him needing to take a break from herpetoculture entirely. Simply put, high-quantity rack keeping killed his passion for keeping which is a very common experience among herpetoculturalists. Nick tells us how he re-engaged with keeping, the rules he follows to maintain interest and we discuss the joy he gains from keeping now that he has turned his focus to high-level keeping. Nick keeps some incredibly interesting species including blue beauty anoles (Anolis equestris potior) , Spiny Tailed skinks (Egernia depressa), Brazilian Galliwasps (Diploglossus lessonae) and more!
